MLK Jr. Day of Service

"Make it a day on, not a day off", in honor of Dr. King's legacy of service.

Join your fellow Anteaters by volunteering at the Orange County Food Bank on Monday, January 16, 2017. Volunteers will be assembling and packing boxes of food for those in need. Transportation is provided. Volunteer and help make a difference in the community, and log your service hours with UCI's volunteer management system, Get Connected, www.uci.galaxydigital.com.

Complete the following steps to confirm your participation in the Day of Service. Space is limited, complete your registration today! Registration will close when full, first come first serve! This service project is open to the campus community.

Check- in: 7:00am - 7:25am
Service Project: 8:30am - 10:30am
Social Justice Workshop:  Immediately following return to campus

Step 1:  Begin your registration by signing up here to hold your spot. REGISTRATION FORM.

Step 2:  A $5 deposit is due to confirm your spot. Deposit will be refunded on January 17, 2017 to individuals that attended the day of service only (non-refundable for no shows). This is completed on the registration page.

Step 3:  Be ready to volunteer bright and early on Monday morning!   

A social justice workshop will take place upon our return to campus - approximately 11:30am -12:30pm in the Cross-Cultural Center, Dr. White room. This workshop is open to all volunteers that participate in the day of service project.  Lunch will be provided during the workshop.
