MLK Day of Service

"Make it a day on, not a day off"
Mon. Jan. 18, 2021

MLK Jr. Day of Service is annual tradition for Anteaters to continue Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy through service to the community. In years past, Anteaters have volunteered at the OC Food Bank to help prepare food for the local community. Despite not being able to meet in person this year, the 2021 virtual activities serve as an opportunity to engage in honoring Dr. King’s commitment to social justice and community nourishment. The MLK Jr. Day of Service is presented in collaboration with the UCI MLK Jr. Symposium, hosted by the Cross-Cultural Center. See website for more events & activities.

Below you will find community service opportunities and virtual events/celebrations you can participate independently. Be sure to interact with your fellow Anteaters in our Community Boards!
