Who We Are

Volunteer Programs provides opportunities for community engagement and leadership development. Through mutually beneficial campus and community partnerships, students explore social issues by engaging in direct service, reflection, and critical dialogue. We aspire to be a resource that encourages and empowers the campus community to become global leaders.

Our Programs

Alternative Break

A service-learning program for students to explore social issues through meaningful service, education, and reflection during their academic breaks.

UCI Engage

An awards ceremony recognizing students, faculty and staff, and non-profit organizations on their contributions to the community. 

MLK Jr. Day of Service

"Make it a day on, not a day off." Join your fellow Anteaters by volunteering at the Orange County Food Bank on Monday, January 15, 2018.  Volunteers will be assembling and packing boxes of food for those in need. Transportation will be provided. This is an amazing opportunity to help make a difference in the community.

UCI Engage: Celebration of Community Engagement is an annual showcase and awards ceremony that celebrates community-campus engagement all-stars. We invite you to nominate faculty, staff, students, alumni, campus organizations and community partners who exemplify the UC Irvine’s commitment to build mutually beneficial relationships between UC Irvine and the surrounding community.
