Who We Are

Volunteer Programs provides opportunities for community engagement and leadership development. Through mutually beneficial campus and community partnerships, students explore social issues by engaging in direct service, reflection, and critical dialogue. We aspire to be a resource that encourages and empowers the campus community to become global leaders.

Someone Cares Soup Kitchen
Our mission is simple: To feed a hot and nutritious meal to the homeless, the unemployed, the working poor, the mentally challenged, the physically challenged, senior citizens, and most importantly – the children. As a volunteer, your service may involve cooking, set-up, serving, donations sorting and stocking, and other tasks to make sure our guests are served as efficiently and lovingly as possible.  Watch our video.
Clean Up Give Back

We are a national non-profit organization seeking student volunteers to help us clean up local communities and engage others to care about the environment. These volunteering opportunities allow for students to help their community while social distancing in the great outdoors.

Social Bridging Project
The Listos California Social Bridging Project, offers a way to volunteer from home alongside hundreds of other Bridgers to reach thousands of Californians and have a meaningful impact on their lives. 65,000 vulnerable Californians were helped by Bridgers in 2020.
Bridgers make calls to Californians using easy to use phone banking tools. Bridgers have access to professionally prepared scripts and vetted reference materials and are supported by our skilled team with thorough training and have direct support during service.
