Volunteer Programs provides opportunities for community engagement and leadership development. Through mutually beneficial campus and community partnerships, students explore social issues by engaging in direct service, reflection, and critical dialogue. We aspire to be a resource that encourages and empowers the campus community to become global leaders.

Love Boutique

Love Boutique Volunteers

Middle Earth, Student Success Initiatives, the Womxn's Hub, and the Cross-Cultural Center are planning to host the 2nd annual Love Boutique Professional Clothing Drive. The event will take place on Thursday, February 27 from 12pm - 6pm in the Dome of Stars (Multipurpose Room) in Middle Earth Tower.  In order to ensure the success of the event for the students, we will be needing volunteers to help with the preparation before and during the event. 

We're looking for volunteers to help sort clothes, assist at the fitting rooms, registration, line management, garment groomer, inventory restock.

Mathematics Engineering and Science Achievement (MESA) Schools Program

MESA Day Events
February 29, March 7, or May 16

The UCI MESA Program is looking for volunteers to assist with the upcoming MESA Day events. Approximately 800+ students from our 26 middle and high schools from the OC and LA area will come to UCI to campus to compete in various math, science, and engineering competitions. Many volunteers are needed to make each event a great experience for everyone. Morning snack and lunch will be provided!

Orange County Pet Expo

Orange County Pet Expo
March  28, 8am-3pm

Calling all pet lovers! The Orange County Pet Expo is looking for volunteers to help out at this year’s event at the Lake Forest Sports Park. We are looking for people to help vendors unload and load their equipment, fill water stations for the animals, and direct traffic. Please use the attached Google Survey to sign up for the event. PMG Awareness 

PMG Awareness Family Convention
July 24-25

PMG Awareness is a nonprofit hosting a family convention at Hotel Irvine on July 24th and 25th to bring families together of disabled children.  We are in need of volunteers to help in our playroom, which will consist of playing games alongside other children & keeping an eye on them to make sure they do not leave the play area.  Please contact Marissa Zamora at marissa@pmgawareness.org or call her at (720) 219-5103.  

Jamboree Housing

Volunteers For Food Bank for Senior Residents
Thursdays - 9:30am-12:30pm

Volunteer at the Meadows in Irvine, a senior residential property, where you can help with the food bank for residents. We need volunteers who are willing and able to unload boxes of food, organize food onto tables, breakdown cardboard boxes, and clean up after the program.This food distribution program feeds 80-100 senior residents every Thursday 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
